COMPLIANCE AND DOCUMENTATION SERVICES

A yacht accumulates its technical record across a dozen places. Drawings with the builder, manuals in an engine room locker, reports with whoever carried out the work, survey papers with class. When the next docking is prepared, someone spends weeks assembling what should already exist.

We build and maintain that record as a single structured archive: system drawings, equipment manuals, maintenance and condition reports, scopes as executed, class and flag documentation. Organised by system, so everything needed to prepare the next yard period sits in one place and can be handed over intact.

What this changes is who holds the knowledge. A management team with the full history decides on its own evidence rather than on the recollection of whoever did the job last time. A yard or a contractor arriving at the vessel for the first time can see how the work was done before, what was found, and what was left open.

It also changes the quality of the specification. When the previous scope, the materials used, the yard assistance required and the supplies consumed are all on record, the next specification can be written in detail instead of in estimates. More of the job can be tendered as closed prices, and fewer items are left for the yard to define later, which is where refit budgets usually move.
