ENGINEERING AND TURN-KEY PROJECTS
Most of the cost and most of the delay in a complex job comes from the seams between contractors. Someone has to own the technical scope, the sequence and the interfaces between trades, and when nobody does, the owner pays for it in variation orders and days alongside.
We take that role and the risk that comes with it. We write one technical scope, price it as a single closed offer, and hand back a finished result. Behind it sit our own site team and a network we have worked with for years: lifting specialists, mechanics, onsite machining, divers, and every trade needed onboard. You deal with one contract, one project manager and one report.
Our work concentrates where the engineering is not routine. Heavy and confined lifting operations, where rigging plans, load paths and structural reinforcement decide whether the job is possible at all. Mechanical works on propulsion and manoeuvring equipment, including alignment, bearing work and onsite machining. Analysis and intervention on equipment in the water, where a proper study up front can replace a haul out. And the projects that do not fit a standard scope, which is usually how they reach us.
We start before the vessel arrives, with the scope frozen, long lead items ordered, method statements, lifting plans and permits in place, and the critical path agreed with the yard. During the work we hold the sequence, the interfaces and the daily record. Afterwards we close the documentation, the snag list and the warranty period. The number we quote is the number you pay unless the scope changes.
The projects other would reather not take are the ones we are built for.
